Preliminaries
Live sessions of ICFHR 2020 will be held during a time-frame from 2 PM to 6 PM (CEST; Tokyo: 9 PM to 1 AM; San Francisco: 5 AM to 9 AM) in order to give participants around the world living in different time zones an adequate possibility to attend. Consequently, the reduced duration of the conference days will be devoted to important presentations and live interaction.
Technically, the virtual ICFHR 2020 will make use of Zoom (zoom.us) in order to implement video-conferencing interaction. Additionally, a system supporting parallel discussion forums will be used (Moodle).
Keynotes / Tutorial
Keynotes as well as the Tutorial will be given as live presentations with live discussion with participants.
Oral presentaions
Papers selected for oral presentation should prepare a 15 minute video of a talk presenting the paper that can be digested by conference attendees prior to the actual conference. Discussion with the authors will be organized live during the associated oral sessions.
Videos should be in MP4 format, use H264 (or H262) encoding, and 720p to 1080p resolution. Videos need to be submitted to the virtual conference platform by August 28 the latest.
Poster presentations
Papers selected for poster presentation should prepare a 5 minute video of a short talk presenting the paper that can be digested by conference attendees prior to the actual conference. Additionally, authors should present poster (1-page PDF) to be posted on the virtual conference platform. Discussions with authors will be organized via individual discussion forums per poster during the complete duration of the conference, i.e., independently of time-zone considerations.
Videos should be in MP4 format, use H264 (or H262) encoding, and 720p to 1080p resolution. Videos need to be submitted to the virtual conference platform by August 28 the latest.
Posters should be sigle-page PDF documents (size A4 or Letter) with all fonts embedded and of a maximum size of 10 MB. Posters need to be submitted to the virtual conference platform by August 28 the latest.

Before uploading your files, make sure to name them according to the following conventions:
PaperID_LastnameFirstAuthor.mp4 (PaperID_LastnameFirstAuthor.pdf)
Updates are possible by uploading a file under the same name. However avoid changes to the once uploaded-material, as we cannot ensure the publication in time. In case of any questions, do not hesitate to contact us under support@icfhr2020.org.
Competitions
Presentation of competitions, results obtained, and winning teams will be decided by the competitions chairs in coordination with the competitions organizers.
